Description
This monograph focusses on Sinology and deals with Chinese anarchism which is thought to be “done”. It argues that Anarchism is not “dead” particularly in relation to sinology. It remains an alternative radical ideology, even in China. It has a very problematic relation to Marxism and a complex relation to Confucian political discourse.in terms of disciplinary problems, the study of Chinese anarchism provides an opportunity to explore the historical continuity of traditional thought (that is, even in radical and iconoclastic vessels) and contemporary issues of contexts of Chinese political culture.
